keycabins ski / snowboard
upcycled
The discarded snowboards and skis come from various sources.
Mainly from equipment from athletes that is no longer used or is defective.
We receive numerous boards from from ski & snowboard hire companies that are no longer used at the end of the winter season to build keycabins.
When it comes to snowboards and skis, no effort is too great to create unique products.
The metal edges are first removed from the boards,
which are returned to the metal cycle as scrap iron.
The same applies to metal components from bindings and screw material.
The visual top side of the boards is then painstakingly removed by hand.
The same applies to the underside, i.e. the covering.
